Olivia’s Gift and FHBC have established a wonderful connection with each other. Residents attend services, help out at the children’s annual carnival, and have blessed our volunteers who spend time with them in so many ways. Our youth group and many individuals and families have enjoyed reading to them, doing crafts, helping out at the home, and playing / singing music. We also have volunteers that help the residents go on outings, such as:
- Meijer Garden
- Robinette’s Orchard
- Bowling
- Grand Rapids Public Museum
- Grand Rapids Art Museum
- Visiting their old ‘teacher’ Abby at North Point Christian
- Walks at Roselle Park
- John Ball Zoo
